Began playing tennis in 1970 in my native country
of Jamaica. Winner of numerous local 3.0 and 3.5 amateur
tournaments before relocating to the U.S.A. in 1980.

1980 to present, member of USTA
·
Winner of several local 4.0 and Jr. Vet
tournaments in St. Louis, including Dwight Davis and MATCH
tournaments. Reached the finals in the 45 years-old category of
the ITA’s annual Indianapolis tournament in 1998.
·
1996
received USPTR Instructor certification. Immediate future plans
include upgrading to a professional certification.
·
1999
to present, Assistant Coach at Nerinx Hall High
School.
2003-2005, Nerinx Hall High School team won First Place in the
NWAA League Division 2 Tournaments.
·
Spring
of 2005 to present, Head Coach for the Lutheran High School
South Boys Tennis Team. Our team won the LHSS Invitational
Tournament. 4th place in the ABC Tournament and
boast an overall dual match record of
8-2-1,
one of their better records.

2000
– 2003 Assistant Instructor:

2004,
received USPTA Developmental Coach certification. Immediate future plans include upgrading to a professional
coach.

Winter
of 2004 to present, joined the coaching staff at Woodsmill
Racquet Club. Coaching includes teaching juniors,
intermediates, High School junior tournament level clinics and
adults clinics. I also teach private single and group lessons
upon request. Additional duties, running tournaments.
